Our Team

What we are eager to learn, boils up when we find a missing puzzle in our mindset. We will recognize these pieces while we keep chasing our curiosity for a while, which is not common among many people.
We are modelling several Explainable AIs for credit scoring ecosystem in the realm of finance technology (FinTech). creating a pipeline for gathering and cleaning data from various suppliers and then tunning some models to teach machines assess individuals and firms in a fair, transparent and precise way, is our main challenge.

Co-learning topic #3: Causal Loop Diagram (CLD)

A Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) is a visual tool used in systems thinking to illustrate the relationships and feedback loops within a system. It consists of variables (nodes) connected by arrows (links) that represent causal relationships, either positive (direct) or negative (inverse). CLDs identify two types of feedback loops: reinforcing loops, which amplify changes and can lead to growth or decline, and balancing loops, which counteract changes to maintain stability. Creating a CLD involves identifying key variables, establishing their relationships, and validating the feedback loops. CLDs are essential for understanding complex systems, solving problems by identifying leverage points, facilitating communication, and predicting system behavior under different conditions, making them invaluable for both analysis and decision-making.

  • Co-learning topic #6: Zeppelin and Docker

Zeppelin service runs on local server. Zeppelin is able to run the interpreter in the docker container, Isolating the operating environment of the interpreter through the docker container. Zeppelin can be easily used without having to install python, spark, etc. on the local node.
    Key benefits are:
    Interpreter environment isolating
Not need to install python, spark, etc. environment on the local node
Docker does not need to pre-install zeppelin binary package, Automatically upload local zeppelin interpreter lib files to the container
Automatically upload local configuration files (such as spark-conf, hadoop-conf-dir, keytab file, ...) to the container, so that the running environment in the container is exactly the same as the local.
Zeppelin server runs locally, making it easier to manage and maintain

    Co-learning topic #1: Inattentional blindness

Inattentional blindness refers to a phenomenon where individuals fail to notice an object in their visual field because their attention is directed elsewhere. This lack of awareness can occur even when there are no vision defects. Each person perceives the world through a unique lens shaped by their knowledge, cognitive abilities, and life experiences. Consequently, individuals may interpret the same situation differently, leading to varied decisions and behaviors. It is essential to recognize that our diverse perceptions stem from distinct life experiences and levels of awareness. When encountering someone with differing viewpoints, instead of reacting with frustration, we should view it as an opportunity for growth. These differences can enrich our understanding and foster learning, provided we remain open and eager to engage with one another. Embracing this diversity not only enhances our individual perspectives but also strengthens our collective knowledge.

    Co-learning topic #5: Neurotransmitters

Dopamine is the neurotransmitter for craving, seeking and pursuing things and it impacts our motivation, mood, physical movement and… I also talked about addiction mechanism and how dopamine works in this context. There are some practical things to do for balancing your dopamine baseline like Cold Exposure, workout and drinking coffee. It’s important to note that you should NOT give yourself rewards without effort. In other words you should experience pain before your rewards for having a good and balanced dopamine baseline. For more information you can watch Huberman lab videos on youtube about Dopamine and also you can read this book: The Molecule of More.

Co-learning topic #9: Modern Economic Growth

Daron Acemoglu's Modern Economic Growth is a comprehensive exploration of the factors influencing long-term economic growth and the disparities in economic performance across nations. The book serves two primary purposes: to introduce graduate students to the essential questions of economic growth and to equip them with the theoretical tools necessary for rigorous analysis. Key Factors Influencing Economic Growth:

Technological Progress: Acemoglu emphasizes the role of technological advancements as a core driver of economic growth. He discusses models of endogenous technological change, highlighting how innovation and technology diffusion contribute to productivity increases.

Human Capital: The book underscores the importance of education and skill development in enhancing labor productivity. Human capital is presented as a critical component that enables economies to adapt to new technologies and improve overall economic performance.

Institutional Frameworks: Acemoglu argues that strong institutions—such as property rights, legal systems, and governance—are fundamental for fostering an environment conducive to growth. He explores how institutional quality can lead to significant differences in economic outcomes between countries.

International Trade and Integration: The text discusses how trade can facilitate technology transfer and enhance competitive advantages, thereby promoting growth. Acemoglu examines the interdependencies created through globalization and their effects on national economies.

Economic Policies: The author delves into the impact of various economic policies on growth trajectories, stressing that sound macroeconomic policies can mitigate risks and promote sustainable development.

Historical Context: Acemoglu integrates historical analysis to explain contemporary economic conditions, arguing that understanding past events is crucial for grasping present challenges in economic development.

By weaving together these elements, Acemoglu provides a nuanced understanding of why some nations experience robust economic growth while others lag behind, making this work a vital resource for students and scholars in economics.

Co-learning topic #8: Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Decentralized Finance (DeFi) refers to a blockchain-based financial system that operates without traditional intermediaries like banks. It leverages smart contracts on platforms like Ethereum to enable peer-to-peer transactions, lending, borrowing, trading, and other financial services. DeFi uses decentralized applications (dApps) to execute these functions automatically, removing the need for centralized control. Users hold custody of their assets and interact through secure protocols. DeFi promotes transparency, accessibility, and censorship resistance, allowing anyone with an internet connection to participate without relying on centralized authorities.

    Co-learning topic #4: Search Algorithms

A search algorithm is a method used to find specific data within a larger dataset. It works by systematically checking elements or data structures to locate the desired information. Search algorithms are widely used in various fields, such as web search engines, database query processing, and artificial intelligence for tasks like pathfinding and decision-making. To improve a search algorithm, one can optimize its efficiency by selecting the right algorithm for the specific dataset, reducing the search space, or applying heuristics to guide the search process. Additionally, parallel processing and data indexing can significantly enhance search speed, making it more efficient for large datasets.

Co-learning topic #2: Justice or Balence?

In game design, balance, harmony, and justice are foundational principles that ensure a cohesive and engaging player experience. Balance involves the fair allocation of in-game resources, mechanics, and opportunities, which is crucial for creating an environment where players of varying skill levels can enjoy the game. Harmony emerges from this balance, fostering a seamless interaction between game elements and players, leading to a state of immersive engagement and mutual respect within the game community. Justice in game design is the system that enforces fairness, ensuring that all players are treated equitably and that rules are applied consistently. Just as in society, the framework of rules and laws within a game are essential for maintaining order and structure. Rules serve as flexible guidelines that adapt to the dynamic nature of gameplay, allowing for creativity and strategy, while laws or core mechanics establish the unchanging foundation that governs the game world, upheld by the game's systems or developers. These elements work together to create a balanced and fair environment where gameplay thrives, player satisfaction is maximized, and the overall game experience is enriched.
